Training & Activities

CFS Foster Care is committed to providing and facilitating professional training and development for its foster carers, staff and panel members. This could be via reading, modelling, shadowing and/or attending internal and external courses. CFS provides membership for each Fostering household to the Fostering Network organisation that provides a range of information and services to Carers and others involved in looking after children and young people.

CFS Foster Care activities are the hustle and bustle of the fostering calendar. We love the opportunity to meet up with the carers, their young people and their extended families.We organize activities such as climbing, canoeing, swimming, pony fun, Christmas party, camping and lots more! The carers and the young people love to meet up with their CFS family and we find it really help to build relationships with peers. It’s a chance for carers and young people to meet others who are on the same journey as they are.
