The ethos within United is that carers and staff attend to provide and receive mutual support.
United organise regular Support Groups for foster cares and children and arrange fun activities for sons and daughters of foster carers.
We believe that It’s so important that foster carers have a safe space where they can share with those who understand and experience similar difficulties to them. Being able to share ideas and ask each other for advice is priceless.
Support for Birth Children
Here at United we have reflective support groups for everyone involved in fostering. This includes birth children also, ‘you are a huge part of the fostering house and we are here to support you too’.
